In Memory of Phil Aspinall

It is with regret that we have to inform you that after a strong fight against cancer, Phil Aspinall passed away on Friday 8th January.

Phil will be sorely missed by all his friends and colleagues at Exploration Logistics. Phil was one of our earliest clients, when he was the safety manager for Enterprise Oil on a contract we had in Laos in the late eighties. As he moved on we kept in touch and then 10 years ago he became the first manager of our safety division.

With an encyclopedic knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry, Phil seemed to know someone in just about every company we deal with. Having worked in the field, his knowledge was invaluable and helped many of us to understand how things actually work on the ground. Phil was a team player whose professionalism in supporting the company was immense.

We will miss his slightly off the wall and sometimes saucy sense of humour, and latterly his strength and positivity during his illness. He will be remembered fondly as a font of knowledge and a really great guy.
